Writing Services

Effective communication is a necessary skill in all professions.  After 15 years of teaching writing and continuing the polishing of my own writing skills, I have created two writing services.

To purchase a writing service, contact me either by phone or e-mail. Then, you can return to this page at the Cottage and select your package.

Web Site Text Package - $125.00

What to Expect:

• A one hour phone conversation with Kelly
• Questions to clarify what you want on your web site
• Text for a 3 page layout: home page, services/products page, an "about John" page
• E-Mail follow-up for revising
• Referral to Web Design Ministries for technical assistance, if needed

Document Writing - $40.00 per hour

What to Expect:

• Phone conversation with Kelly
• Questions to Clarify what is needed & to determine if Kelly is the best writer for the client's needs
• Agreement on a document template
• Ghost Writing
• Basic Editing of Writing Conventions
• Word Choice Revisions
• A Completed Document

Purpose of Service:

• To assist in the completion of an already existing writing project
• To assist in the creation of the writing of a new project

Reasons to Make an Agreement:

• Client is looking for someone to brainstorm ideas of what the text can look and sound like
• Client is seeking another pair of eyes and ears to experience the words on the page before the work is given to the intended audience
• Client is desiring someone who enjoys the writing process to do some of the work
• Client is searching for encouragement in the writing process
